DISSOLVER (LIVE)

Dissolver is a live techno artist with a unique and recognisable sound while always staying close to his motto: “Live hardware techno but not as serious”. Remarkable samples, cheeky vocals and tempo’s starting from 140bpm are things you’re likely to encounter during his sets. And all of that without any sign of a laptop. His two releases on Nina Kraviz’ Trip Records are frequently played by techno heavyweights like Carl Cox, Boys Noize, Dax J, Peggy Gou and many more.

HAKIM MIDHAT

Hakim is no stranger to MASCHINE. He played at MASCHINE 2 back in 2017 and has shown tremendous progress. He developed and polished his skills as a DJ and as a producer, which resulted in multiple releases. We can’t wait to hear his new sound through our big sound system!

CRAVO

Something seems to be happening in Portugal, since there’s been a constant stream of quality techno from that country lately. Cravo is at the forefront of the wave of Portuguese producers who have been highly influential in the last years. Together with his friends VIL and Temudo, he has shaped the sound of techno and made it faster, but also groovier again and brought the soul back into the machines.

This musical talent is a rising star in the techno scene. After releasing her own tracks she has been invited to play in clubs like Doornroosje and BASIS. She’s recently graduated from the Electronic Music Academy at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, which can be heard in the quality of her own productions and DJ sets.

Lolsnake is an Iraqi-American artist based in Berlin. She’s the founder of the weeeirdos events and record label which focuses on upcoming queer artists and DJs. As a DJ she effortlessly blends hypnotic techno with other styles like hardcore and trance. She’s recognised as one of the new upcoming artists that will make waves in the techno scene and we’re very happy to have her play her first gig ever in The Netherlands

Fast mixing techniques and a taste for old school records with real groove and funk have given Comrade Winston a strong reputation within the techno community. These abilities at the decks have earned him a position as a steady player at the infamous Unpolished parties as well as a residency at Operator Radio. Comrade Winston is on his way to stardom in the techno scene. Watch him tear down the dancefloor at the first MASCHINE after the lockdown.

FlyLai

FlyLai is one of Eindhoven’s hidden gems. No matter what time she plays, she always delivers. FlyLai takes you on a deep trip and once you’re in, she lifts you up with an unexpected banger. Her talent has brought her to both big stages, such as the Klokgebouw, and the most underground techno parties.

This duo is a rising star in the techno scene. They’re best known for their dark techno sets at Vault Sessions and Reaktor. Not much is known about them, except that they’re dropping massive releases and their sets take you to another reality!

P=MV (live)

P=MV (pronounced as Momentum) is the alliance between techno veterans Tachini and Sceptical C. These guys have had numerous releases under their own names, but decided to join forces. They absolutely killed Kings Day last year and they’ve created a new banging live act especially for MASCHINE 11.

MISS DJAX

Only a few people in the global techno scene deserve to be called a legend, but Miss Djax definitely is one of those. She was one of the first people on the planet to release techno on her own label. Djax Records was founded in 1989(!) in Eindhoven and the label celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.

Besides releasing music, Miss Djax is known for her superb DJ sets full of banging techno and acid, which gave her the name ‘The Acid Queen’. With such a long career she has played all major clubs and festivals, such as the legendary Love Parade, Awakenings and more recently Unpolished. At MASCHINE she will play a vinyl set.

Sander Chan is a well-known artist for MASCHINE visitors. His dark and energetic sets have made him a favorite in the Eindhoven techno scene. No matter if he’s playing in a tunnel, basement or main stage, he can read the crowd and give them what they need.

Coming straight from Planet KL, these two mysterious beings take you on a trip to their world. Expect techno bending time and space. Suddenly you open your eyes and you don’t know what just happened. Welcome back from Planet KL.

He is known for his deep, melodic style which you can hear in his sets and productions. This year you could see him at Dekmantel, Awakenings, De School or Tresor and we’re honoured to have him for his Eindhoven debut at MASCHINE.

MCMLXXXV (pronounced as 1985) is one of the most wanted DJs at the moment. The founder of the infamous Herrensauna parties in Berlin rose to stardom after his Boiler Room set was shared by literally everyone. His style is energetic, ravey, raw and full of acid. It brings back the vibe of the 90s. Dance, because you want to dance without thinking about how you look. Forget about smartphones. Forget about other people. Dress how you want. Take of your shirt and dance to this iconic DJ who will bring Berlin’s queer vibe to Eindhoven.

We’re so happy to have her. She’s one of the best kept secrets in the underground electronics scene. Being a member of the HITnRUN collective she’s been doing gigs all over Europe. She’s mostly known for playing tekno (yes, with a K), but at MASCHINE she’s bringing her softer side in which she’s equally skilled!
